"This workshop will be an exploration into how we look at nature for guidance on building "healthy social soil" - spaces, dynamics, and experiences that help people to root and grow to the fullest.
Yellow Barn Farm has been an experiment in decentralizing collaboration between people and organizations. How do we replicate nature's self-organizing mechanisms within our own interpersonal relationships so that we can move more like a flock of birds or school of fish?
Emotional Ecology begins to look at ourselves as "ecosystems" that are reflections of nature's ecosystems. From the micro to the macro, we begin to see similar patterning that can help us make sense of our emotions, behaviors, and thoughts.
By looking at the way we interact with one another and giving structure to the rather abstract realm of emotions, logic, and ethics, we start to create a shared language that helps us see one another's perspectives with greater clarity."
